Baklava Cheesecake

Crust:
* 100g butter , melted
* 1 1/2 cups pistachios, ground
* 8-10 sheets phyllo dough ( عجينة البقلاوة )
CHEESECAKE
* 400g @dairiday cream cheese
* 1 cup powdered sugar
* 3 large eggs
* 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* Petal Jam, to garnish
* Sugar Syrup (قطر) , recipe available in the nammoura video
Method:
Baklava Cheesecake Recipe:
Crust:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Brush a 20cm springform pan with melted butter.
3. Layer sheets of phyllo dough in the pan, brushing each sheet with melted butter, make sure to cover all the sides
4. Sprinkle the bottom with 3/4 of the ground pistachios
Cheesecake:
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
2. Add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
3. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until incorporated.
4. Stir in vanilla extract.
5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the layered phyllo dough in the prepared pan.
6. Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly.
Baking:
1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the top is golden brown.
2. Let the cheesecake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
3. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
4. Decorate with remaining ground pistachios and petal jam ( مربى الزهر )
5. Slice, drizzle with sugar syrup and enjoy!
